Scope of Work:
● Demolition of existing ceiling to reveal existing framing
● Temporary wall construction
● Modification of existing roof joist layout to engineer specifications- moving existing steel joist and addition of new structural steel joists
● Framing of pilot house structure from rooftop
● Weather sealing of new structure (Tyvek system)
● Framing layout for new custom stairwell; including construction of two split landings
● Installation of three casement windows (two singles; one double)
● Installation of 96" exterior glass door
● Spray foam insulation in newly constructed wall and ceiling bays
● Installation of custom staircase (three runs connected by landings)
● Installation of red oak flooring on stairwell landings
● Installation of all necessary casing, baseboard, and shoe molding
Role: Assistant Carpenter (total team of two)
